On the 07 May 2019, the Beacon Maritime Management Team called on the Director of the Regional Marine Centre of the University of Ghana, Professor George Wiafe. The office call was to afford Beacon Maritime and the Regional Marine Centre the opportunity to discuss avenues for collaboration and partnerships on projects in the marine environment and maritime domain. Of particular interest was the use of drone technology in maritime domain surveillance and monitoring and marine environment conservation.
