Naval Captain IY Kwantwi-Mensah (Rtd) is Consulant Logistics, Finance and Administration. He holds a Master of Governance and Leadership (MGL) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Administration (GIMPA), a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Mouncrest University College as well as a Diploma in Port and a Shipping Management from the Regional Maritime University. Naval Captain Kwamtwi-Mensah also holds certification in Maritime Exclusive Economic Zone Management and Operation, Crisis and Conflict Management, Defence Management, Ordnanace Management, Peace Support Operations, Ghana Security Sector Governance and Management, Customs Clearing House Proficiency and Command and Staff Course. His areas of expertise include: maritime logistics operations and management and training and development. He served as a commissioned officer in the Ghana Navy (Ghana Armed Forces) for 30 years and was trained at the Ghana Military Academy, the Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC) and Indian Naval Training Schools. Whilst in the Navy, he held appointment including: Chief Instructor, Directing Staff (GAFCSC), Director of Logistics Division and Naval Secretary. After service, worked with the United Nations in Nairobi, Kenya as Arms and Transport Expert for the UN Somalia Monitoring Group in charge of piracy. He was also appointed as Security Coordinator of Agricultural Development Bank (adb).
